Job profile The Senior Research Nurse will be responsible for: • Act as lead nurse for BMGF study with responsibility for study management and study specific staff training, ensuring compliance with the protocol, sponsor and SOPs, clinical trial regulations • Some round-the-clock shift duties, including night shift, may be involved. • Deliver, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, a high standard of care to study participants for the duration of the study • Develop and implement, in collaboration with the research team, a recruitment plan to identify, consent and retain study participants from tertiary care • Supporting the submissions for relevant government / ethics approvals • Structuring and supervising compliance for the study management plans; Ensuring compliance with the project requirements and cascading the issues/ updates to the relevant stakeholders • Supervising the study implementation at site and ongoing study and QC activities • Contribute to the on-going development of the CRF with identified key responsibilities whilst also assuming responsibility for clinical area and staff when required • Reviewing protocol deviations and loss to follow up to ensure quality data is delivered • Communicating with CROs and investigators for tracking patient recruitment and progress to study timelines,maintaining and reporting metrics for clinical site performance
• Providing input and support to maintain appropriate documentation for adverse event safety monitoring, and collaborating in submission of safety reports to sponsor, Ethics Committees and other applicable authorities • Liasoning with the Project mangement team to ensure good quality of study data • Supervising the data management progress with data manager and the DM team • Work with coordinating PI to ensure that the trial is meeting its targets, is producing meaningful output and to predict and plan any changes that warrant requests to changes in protocol, funding, or timelines • Keeping stakeholders informed on study progress, risks and accomplishments • Maintain accurate records of study specific information using traditional paper records, GG&C electronic patient management systems or web-based study specific IT systems and provide accurate reports to CRO, sponsor and Principal Investigator as required

Location Government Headquarters Hospital (GHQH), Cuddalore and JIPMER, Pondicherry The selected applicant will be expected to work at GHQH Cuddalore after 1-2 weeks of training in JIPMER, Pondicherry. The SRN will have to travel to JIPMER one day a week. Hence applicants residing in and around Cuddalore will be given preference.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. All educational professional and technical qualification should be from a recognized Board/ University and full-time. 2. GENERAL CONDITIONS & ESSENTIAL INFORMATION 1. The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason(s). 6. The appointment of a candidate shall be subject to verification of character and antecedents by the competent authority. Until the verification of character and antecedents reports are received, the appointment shall be treated as provisional. In case the report/s with regard to his conduct, character, antecedents, etc., is found to be unsatisfactory, the appointment shall be cancelled / terminated forthwith.
7. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate shall be treated as a disqualification which shall lead to cancellation of candidature. 8. In pursuance of the Letter No. 19-50/2015-Desk-U, dated 22.12.2015, of the MHRD there shall be no interview for appointment to the Group ‘C’ and ‘B’ posts. Accordingly, no interview shall be held for appointment to the Group ‘C’ and Group ‘B’ posts. 9. The selected candidate shall produce a medical fitness certificate issued by a Govt. Hospital / or Govt./CGHS empanelled Hospital duly countersigned by the concerned civil surgeon or the Medical Superintendent/ Director of the concerned hospital for Group B and C post and certificate from the Medical Boar disused by a Govt. Hospital / or Govt./CGHS empanelled Hospital for Group A post as the case may be prior to his joining.In cases where a person has already been examined by a Medical Board in respect of his previous appointment and if standard of medical examination prescribed for the new post is the same, then he need not be required to undergo a fresh examination. For this purpose, he has to submit a copy of the medical certificate duly countersigned by the designated officer of the University. 10. The terms and conditions of appointment shall be communicated to the candidate in the form of ‘Offer of Appointment’ to the selected candidates. If the candidate does not accept the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer of appointment within the stipulated time, the offer shall be treated as withdrawn. 11. The selected candidates shall be required to perform duties as per the Rules of the University, as amended from time to time. The University shall be free to assign any duty as per the exigency of the situation at any time even during non-working hours / holidays which the employee shall have to perform without fail to avoid any disciplinary action. 12. The selected candidate shall be governed by the Pension Scheme/ New Pension Scheme of the Govt. of India, as the case may be, duly extended by UGC. 13. The selected candidate shall be liable to serve anywhere within the jurisdiction of the University. 14. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the University reserves right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate. 15. Any amendment to the Notification / Regulations/Guidelines of the UGC/Government of India in future shall be deemed to have been adopted by the University for Implementation in supersession of the existing provisions already adopted and incorporated in these Rules. 19. At the time of recruitment, a ‘Service Agreement’ shall be executed between the University and the employee concerned and a copy of the same shall be kept with the Registrar. Such service agreement shall be duly stamped as per the rates applicable. 20. The candidate shall bring all original certificates relating to his age, qualifications, experience, etc. at the time of tests or interview wherever applicable. In case the candidate fails to submit the original documents for verification of the certified photocopies of the enclosures to his application, he may not be allowed to appear at the tests/interview and his candidature may be treated as cancelled without any further communication in this regard. 21. (i) The details of the vacancies shall be mentioned in the advertisement. The University may also include the details with regard to anticipated vacancies arising due to retirement of employee/s of that particular year which shall be filled through the instant advertisement. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill up the posts advertised for any reasons whatsoever. However, the number of posts filled up shall not exceed the number of posts advertised including anticipated vacancies.

(ii) The University may draw a panel in the form of a waiting list to fill up a post. In case a candidate on higher merit regrets to join within a period of one year or resigns/dies after joining, within a period of one year, the offer shall be made to the next candidate on the merit, if otherwise in order, to reduce the delay in filling up of the vacancies. Such a vacancy should not be treated as fresh vacancy. (Reference :DoPT OM No.41010/18/97-Estt(B) dated 13th June, 2000) (iii) The University reserves the right to withdraw an advertisement, either partly or wholly, at any time without assigning any reason. Against these posts no recruitment process could be initiated and the same were cancelled by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula vide Public Notices dated 01-05-2015 & 27.04.2018. The candidates who had earlier applied against these posts and are eligible against the re-advertised posts shall be given age relaxation (if required) and such candidates will also be exempted from the payment of application fee. However, such candidates will have to apply afresh alongwith proof of depositing the application fee. They are required to upload the fee Challan/credit certificate issued by Treasury/e-Challan as the case may be, alongwith the fresh application form and will produce the original Challan/credit certificate issued by Treasury /eChallan at the time of verification. The candidates who have applied earlier against these posts and do not fulfill the educational qualification prescribed for the post shall be entitle for refund of fee.



Examination Schedule :- The Examination either Online (CBT) or OMR Based is likely to be held in the month of November or December. The date, time and place of examination will be as per admit card. The dependents of ESM will include wife/widow, dependent sons/daughters and who fulfill all conditions of qualifications; age etc. prescribed for posts & will be considered on merit for the posts reserved for ESM to the extent of non-availability of suitable ESM candidates. 15. DESM candidates of Haryana claiming benefit must have valid eligibility certificate on last date of submission of online application form and will have to produce the valid Eligibility Certificate from the concerned Zila Sainik Board when called upon to do so by Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Mere dependent certificate will not be entertained. ESM candidates should also produce attested photo copy of Identity Card issued by concerned Zila Sainik Board & Discharge Book whenever required. 16. If on verification at any stage, it is found that any candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility condition or it is found that the information furnished is false or incorrect, his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she will also be liable to be criminally prosecuted. (l) If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited. (m) Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are dispatched for training. (n) Mobile phones, smart watches and any other recording devices are not permitted in the rally site and the time of CEE. (o) Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally. (p) Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for three to four days. Marks obtained by such common candidates will be used by other Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices for preparing the Merit List for that level of post(s) in their respective Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices. h) Candidates scoring less than cut-off marks as given below will not be considered for the next stage of recruitment: 18 UR : 35% OBC/ EWS : 30% Other categories : 25% j) Depending on the number of vacancies of a particular category of post, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage of scrutiny based on the score and merit of candidates in the Computer Based Examination in the following ratio: (a) In the ratio of 1:20, for up to 5 vacancies for any category of posts. During verification of documents, if it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in the application form is wrong, his/ her candidature will be rejected forthwith. No appeal or representation against such rejection of candidature will be entertained. The candidates should ensure that they have furnished correct information in the application form. o) Scores/ Marks of the candidates will only be disclosed/ made available on the website of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices at the time of declaration of Final Result for the particular Category of post.


p) SC, ST, OBC, ESM, EWS and PwD candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies. Such candidates will be accommodated against the general/ unreserved vacancies in the post as per their position in the overall merit or vacancies earmarked for their category, whichever is advantageous to them. The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the eligible SC, ST, OBC, ESM, EWS and PwD candidates. q) SC, ST, OBC, ESM, EWS and PwD candidates who qualify on the basis of relaxed standards viz. age limit, experience or qualifications, permitted number of chances, extended zone of consideration, etc., irrespective of his/ her merit position, is to be counted against reserved vacancies and not against un-reserved vacancies. Such candidates may also be recommended at the relaxed standards to the extent of number of vacancies reserved for them, to make up for the deficiency in the reserved quota, irrespective of their rank in the order of merit. In so far as cases of ex-serviceman are 19 concerned, deduction of the military service rendered from the age of ex-servicemen is permissible against the reserved or unreserved posts and such exemption will not be termed as relaxed standards in regard to age. Similarly for PwD candidates, relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit will not be termed as relaxed standards. r) A person with disability who is selected on his/ her own merit can be appointed against an unreserved vacancy provided the post is identified suitable for Persons with Disability of relevant category. s) Success in the examination confers no right of appointment unless Government is satisfied after such enquiry as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment to the service/ post. t) The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification, at any time before or after the written examination, it is found that they do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be cancelled. u) Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India i.e. all these posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL). v) Candidates on final selection may be allotted a State/ UT/ Zone by the concerned User Ministry/ Department/ Office. Such candidates may be required to acquire the proficiency in local language of the allotted State/ UT/ Zone for confirmation of the candidates to the allotted posts by the concerned User Ministry/ Department/ Office.

How to apply: (i) Candidates will have to apply for each category of post separately and also pay fee for each category. (ii) Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-IV and Annexure-V of this Notice. (iii) Last date for submission of online applications is 31-08-2019 (5.00 PM). (iv) Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
