Eligibility Criteria (Post-wise)

Eligibility varies depending on the post. In general:

  • Applicant must be an officer holding an analogous post on regular basis

  • OR have required years of regular service in the relevant pay level

  • Must possess prescribed educational qualification and experience

  • For nursing posts:

    • B.Sc Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing

    • Registration with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council

    • Experience in a minimum 200-bedded hospital

Only post-qualification experience will be counted.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age:

    • 56 years for most posts

    • 59 years for Medical Superintendent

  • Age calculated as on the last date of application submission

Deputation Period

  • Initial period: 3 years

  • Extendable up to 5 years as per DoPT rules
