Post: Staff Nurses

Pay Scale: Rs.18,000/- or Rs.15,000/- p.m. based on experience.

ational Qualifications: (i) Candidates must pass Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery OR B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized Institution
(ii) Registration as qualified Nurse with Gujarat Nursing Council or similar Council of any other state in India.



(iii) One year’s experience of Nursing after obtaining the qualification. Internship period is not counted as experience.

Age limit: Minimum - 20 years and Maximum – 30 years.

Terms and Conditions of Engagement
1. He/she will be on contractual basis for a period upto 11 months from the date of joining.
2. He/she shall be paid consolidated monthly remuneration as stated above during the period of contractual engagement.
3. He/she shall not be entitled to / eligible for any other allowances or financial benefits during the above contractual period.
4. He/she shall carry out the functions/duties assigned to him/her from time to time by the Superior Officers of DPT.
5. His/Her service shall be made use of anywhere i.e. Hospitals at Gopalpuri, Kandla, Vadinar and Dispensary at Adipur in the best manner as the Hospital Management, DPT considers it as essential including Ambulance Duty i.e. he/she shall work as attendant in the Ambulance while shifting of patients to the Hospitals and he/she should have thorough knowledge to operate the apparatus available in the ICU Ambulance and to provide nursing care to the patient in the Ambulance. While posting on Ambulance Duty, he should see all the emergency medicines/oxygen cylinders/ equipments are available and in working condition.


6. He/she shall be entitled for reimbursement of 2nd class non-AC railway fare or bus fare as per actual in case of journeys performed for Deendayal Port Trust official work.
7. He/shall be entitled to the reimbursement of the boarding and lodging expenses as per actual or Rs.500/- per day, whichever is less for temporary posting at Vadinar.
8. He/she will not be entitled/eligible for any type of leave during the contract period, except the holidays applicable to Deendayal Port Trust. In the event of absence from duty on whatsoever reason, the pro-rata amount from the remuneration payable will be deducted for the period of absence.
9. He/she shall be entitled to/eligible for allotment of “F” type quarter on application, on twin-sharing basis, depending on availability and payment of License fee under FR-45A.
10. The above contract is liable to be terminated by giving a notice of 15 days by either side.
11. The Management without assigning any reason can terminate the above contract at any time by giving 15 days notice.
12. This engagement of contract will stand terminated on completion of time of eleven months or if terminated earlier.
13. He/she shall neither be entitled for any claim for any temporary/adhoc/regular employment in Deendayal Port Trust during the said contractual period or completion of the contract.
14. Any kind of criminal or civil proceedings that may arise during the contractual period, the Port will not be held responsible in any manner.
15. He/she shall be provided with the bus facility on payment of applicable charges, as recovered from the Port staff.
16. The Port is authorized to amend / modify the above terms and conditions at any time to suit the requirement of the Port.

The duly filled in applications in the prescribed format shall reach Chief Medical Officer, Deendayal Port Trust, Port Hospital, Gopalpuri, Gandhidham 370 240, Kutch Dist., Gujarat, on or before 25.3.2019
