All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur has released an official recruitment notification for Project Staff on a contractual basis under the “Hospital-Based Surveillance of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES)” Project. This recruitment is conducted under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for Project Technical Support III and Project Nurse III / Project Technical Support II posts for a tenure of 10 months.

1. Project Technical Support III

    • B.Sc. in Life Sciences OR

    • Post Graduation in relevant subject/field OR

    • Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

  • Desirable Qualification:

    • Minimum one year experience in ELISA and RT-PCR techniques

  • Salary:

    • ₹28,000 per month + HRA (20% = ₹5,600)

2. Project Nurse III / Project Technical Support II

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Essential Qualification:

  • Desirable Qualification:

    • Previous experience in sample and data collection

  • Salary:

    • ₹28,000 per month + HRA (20% = ₹5,600)

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 35 Years

  • Age Relaxation:

    • SC/ST – 5 Years

    • OBC – 3 Years

Selection Process

  • Offline MCQ-Based Written Test

  • Interview

  • Interview Date: 24 February 2026

  • Only candidates qualifying the written test will be called for the interview.
