Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
Option 1
- B.Sc. Nursing
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
AND
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council/Indian Nursing Council.
OR
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
with
- Registration as Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council/INC.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a 50-bedded hospital after obtaining essential qualification.

- Maximum Age: 30 Years

Selection Process
The recruitment consists of two Computer Based Tests (CBT).
Stage-I: NORCET Preliminary
- 100 Multiple Choice Questions
- 100 Marks
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 1/3 Mark
This is only a qualifying examination.
Stage-II: NORCET Main
- 160 Multiple Choice Questions
- 160 Marks
- Duration: 180 Minutes
- Nursing syllabus with case-based questions
- Negative Marking: 1/3 Mark
Final merit will be prepared based on the Stage-II examination.
