ECHS Recruitment 2026 has been officially announced through an Employment Notice published in leading newspapers – The Times of India and Aajkaal dated 22 January 2026. The notification invites applications for engagement of Medical, Paramedical and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis in ECHS Polyclinics at Kolkata, Salt Lake, Howrah and Baruipur under Station Cell (ECHS) Kolkata.
This recruitment drive is conducted by the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
🏥 About ECHS Recruitment 2026
ECHS invites applications to engage eligible Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Civilian candidates for various posts on a contractual basis for one year, which may be extended for another year based on performance or till the maximum age limit.
⚠️ Civilian candidates selected against ESM reserved vacancies will be appointed only for 11 months.
