AIIMS Mangalagiri Vacancy Details
AIIMS Mangalagiri is recruiting for a total of 5 project positions under the INHIBIT Study.
1. Project Research Scientist–I (Non-Medical)
Number of Posts: 1
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Remuneration: ₹56,000 + HRA as admissible
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees. For Engineering/IT/Computer Science, a four-year Graduate Degree is specified.
Desirable Experience: Experience in clinical bacteriology research, particularly antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST), broth microdilution (BMD), MIC determination, strain maintenance and laboratory quality-control activities.
The selected candidate will be involved in identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing of project-specific bacterial isolates, MIC testing, maintenance of bacterial strains and stocks, data recording, inventory management and other research activities assigned under the project.
2. Project Technical Support–II
Number of Posts: 3
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
Remuneration: ₹20,000 + HRA as admissible
The essential qualification includes 12th in Science + Diploma in MLT/DMLT/Engineering or equivalent with five years' relevant experience, OR a three-year Graduate Degree in the relevant subject/field with two years' relevant experience.
As per the June 2026 ICMR rationalization provisions mentioned in the notification, candidates possessing a relevant Post-Graduate degree may be eligible without mandatory work experience, subject to the applicable conditions.

Good working proficiency in English, Telugu and Hindi is desirable for patient communication.
The Project Nurse–III will be responsible for clinical/study data collection and maintenance, assessment of predefined patient outcomes, antimicrobial prescription and consumption audits, documentation of duration of therapy and length of stay, assistance in antimicrobial-stewardship and bedside educational activities, follow-up and project documentation.
AIIMS Mangalagiri Project Nurse Recruitment 2026
The AIIMS Mangalagiri Project Nurse–III Recruitment 2026 offers an opportunity for nursing graduates to work in an ICMR-funded clinical research project.
