Terms and Conditions : 1. Your engagement will be for the period of 12 months and on expiry of the said period, the contractual engagement will be automatically terminated. However, on expiry of the contract, KoPT reserves the right to enter into a fresh contract for such period and on such terms and conditions as may be mutually agreed upon. 2. You may avail of the facility of KoPT accommodation (unfurnished) on payment of license fee/rent as applicable, subject to availability. 3. You will be responsible for Total Nursing Care of the patients admitted in the hospital, in particular the following : a. Admission, orientation and assessment of the patients’ nursing needs and planning patients’ care. b. Observation and collection/recording data for making diagnosis and nursing intervention, e.g. vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration), intake-output chart, secretions and excretion and conditions of wounds etc, preservation and maintenance of hospital documents. c. Performing routine ward activity in making round in the wards with doctors and implement physician’s order in administering medication, injection, surgical dressing, catherization, bladder wash, Ryle’s Tube intubation and aspiration, intravenous and blood transfusion, helping in physical examination and investigations, collection of specimens and sending to the laboratory, enema and bowel wash, tube feeding (Lavage), Pre and Post Operative Care etc. d. Assist in direct care of the patients, e.g. maintaining personal hygiene bed making and assist in activity of daily living (ADL), eg, bed making, feeding, sponging, dressing etc. e. Maintenance of safe environment, segregation of Bio Medical Waste as per WBPCB guidelines, protect patients from any kind of injury and preserve legal and human rights in terms of health and illness. f. Provide patients and their family members with information about health, treatment, therapy and life style changes and impart health education to patients’. g. Assist in planning and administrating therapeutic diets. h. Co-ordinate health care with other members of the health team and maintain pier relationship. i. Assist in making ward requirement and periodical stock verification and keeping necessary records. j. Service booking for radiological and pathological tests etc. k. Hand over and takeover of ward equipment when changing shifts. l. Such other related jobs as may be assigned by superior authority. 4. You will be entitled to 15 days’ leave in a year, which may be availed of with prior approval. For any unauthorized absence in excess of 15 days, pro-rata deduction would be made from the consolidated

Pay Scale: For ‘A’ Grade Staff Nurse  Minimum Pay of pay band 9300-34800+GP 4600(pre-revised)+variable DA+ & other allowances under the rules


Educational Qualifications:  Essential:  (i) Matric pass from a recognized university/Board/School or equivalent.  (ii) ‘A’ Grade Nurse and Midwife from a recognized Institute.  (iii) Registered with Nursing Council as ‘A’ Grade Nurse and Midwife.   Age limit: Between 18 to 27 years of age. Relaxable for M.C.D./Government employees/SC/ST/OBC/PH as per instructions issued by the DOPT from time to time).

Age Limit General : 18 - 27 years SC : 18 - 32 years ST : 18 - 32 years OBC : 18 - 30 years Others : 18 - 37 years

GENERAL CONDITIONS:-    1. The engagement is purely on contract basis for a period of 06 months or till the time the post is filled up on regular basis by through DSSSB, whichever is earlier. The engagement can be terminated at any time on either side by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary without assigning any reason.  2. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC (Delhi only) / PH candidates will be as per Govt., of India norms.   3. The Appointing Authority reserves right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra allowance will be admissible in case of such assignment.  4. The engagement shall not be entitled to any other benefit such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance treatment, Seniority etc. which are available to the SDMC employees appointed on regular basis.  5. This engagement will not bestow any claim or right with the incumbent for regular appointment to the post.  6. The engagement carries with it the liability to serve in any part of SDMC.  7. The engagement will be subject to furnishing of Medical fitness Certificate from a qualified Medical Officer.  8. She / He will not be entitled to any TA for joining the post.  9. Other conditions of contractual service will be governed by relevant rules notified from time to time.  10. A contract Agreement on the lines available in the office of AO(H), SDMC format on Rs.100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper duly attested by notary public will also to be furnished.  11. After joining SDMC they are not allowed to do any private practice.  12. SDMC is not responsible for any postal delay.   13. SDMC reserves to right to increase or decrease the no. of vacancies advertised as per need or cancel the advertisement itself Toto or partially without any further notifications or any assigning any reason.  14. The crucial date of determination of age will be the closing date.  15. Online application submitted without the scanned copies of the certificates will be rejected.  16. Upper age limit and essential education qualifications shall be limited as on closing date i.e. dated 05.04.2018.  17. SDMC reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications / experience / age bar in exceptional cases.  18. The E-mail Id. And the mobile telephone number are furnished in the application form  19. A Scanned photograph ( J.P.G format) is up-loaded in the application.     20. A print out of the filled in application is taken immediately on submission and kept in safe custody- this needs to be produced, if called for document verification.  21. That, the SDMC reserves the right to shortlist the candidates on the basis of the pre-determined criteria which may be higher than the minimum qualification prescribed.   22. All efforts will be made by the SDMC to inform the short listed
candidates of the details of documents verification by SMS and on E-mail. The Information will also be put on website within fifteen days from the last date of submission of the application and that no postal intimation will be given.  23. Only five times of total vacancies will be shortlisted for documents verification. The shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks of the class of essential qualification only of each post. At the time of documents verification, a print out of the application as filled on on-line will have to be produced along with all original certificates at the time of interview.   24. The SDMC reserves the right to make any amendment, cancellation and change in this advertisement in whole or part without assigning any reason.
